Two Tree Press helps authors produce a well-written final product. We offer three levels of editing support for finalizing your document. Send text to us “as is.” Then, choose one, two or all of our editing levels:

          Edit Level 1 – Editing for grammar, spelling and punctuation

          Edit Level 2 – Editing for consistent voice and logical flow

          Edit Level 3 – Proofreading for final layout and page completeness  

·          Process: Projects less than 50 pages are completed within three business days. Longer documents may require more time. Multiple documents can be reviewed at the same time since each document may be assigned to a different editing team.

Edit Level 1 – Copy editors conduct one read-through to check for errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation and word usage in text that has not yet been formatted for printing. This process will give your documents consistent sentence and paragraph construction that is error-free.

Documents are returned to you via e-mail with the editing changes already incorporated into the document or in “red-lined” format so you can approve each change – the choice is yours.

Edit Level 2 – Copy editors conduct one read-through and make suggestions for consistent use of voice and style, which adds a logical flow to the document, clarifies your intended message and improves the text’s fluency. During this process, a copy editor may ask you about content or wording to ensure logicality but will not attempt to ensure factual accuracy.

Documents are returned to you via e-mail with the editing changes already incorporated in to the document or in “red lined” format so you can approve each change – the choice is yours. Two Tree Press editors will also provide you with summary suggestions for areas of concern on structure or clarity.

Edit Level 3 – Proofreading brings one final look at documents that have already been edited and formatted, often comparing two sets of formatted manuscripts to ensure all flagged changes have been incorporated. A proofing editor will review layout and formatting and search for any errors that have been previously missed.

Documents are returned to you via e-mail with all copy, page numbering and formatting changes already incorporated according to your pre-established format specifications.    

·          Cost: All pricing is per page of edited text. (One page is 250 words.)

Edit Level 1 – $1.85 per page

Edit Level 2 – $0.95 per page
