Transcription is a key step in the self-publishing process. Unfortunately, even the savviest typist may spend hours typing up a single interview. Let Two Tree Press take over this time-intensive process by converting your audio or video files into a digital document.

Transcription Service

If you can say it, we can type it. Our pay-for-production rates take the guess work out of traditional typing and transcription pricing.

·          Process: Send us a copy of your audio content. We’ll type it and send you the transcript via e-mail in an RTF format that can be used in any self-publishing program you choose. If you have a preferred transcript format, we’ll set up our templates to use that format, including your preferred margins, fonts, font size, etc.

As soon as we receive the audio file, we’ll contact you with a project timeline. A clear audio file is typically typed at the pace of 65 pages per day. For larger audio files, we’ll provide you access to an FTP drop-box to help simplify the transfer (many e-mail services limit the size of attachments they’ll send)

·          Cost: $3.00 per page (one page is 250 words). It’s free to set up your Two Tree Press transcription service account.
